ManageEngine AD360
ManageEngine (Zoho)
Combined score
▪ Editorial verdict
ManageEngine AD360 is the most affordable IAM platform for Windows-centric SMB environments. The Active Directory lifecycle management, password self-service, and MFA capabilities cover the essentials for organisations whose primary identity infrastructure is still on-premises Active Directory and whose budget does not justify Okta or Microsoft Entra Premium licensing.
The capability ceiling below enterprise IAM is clear. Modern SaaS application integration, adaptive MFA, cloud entitlement management, and IGA capabilities are limited or absent. For organisations moving to cloud-first infrastructure, AD360 will quickly become constraining.
The verdict: ManageEngine AD360 is right for SMBs with primarily Windows and Active Directory infrastructure wanting affordable IAM management without migrating to cloud-native identity. Organisations moving to cloud-first should evaluate JumpCloud or Microsoft Entra ID.
